Liriope spicata

These Liriope spicata were to expand our 2019 planting, and to replace those munched on by hungry deer.

We're happy to report that the plants arrived in good shape, damp and ready for Cincinnati clay. Muscles I'd not used for a while responded, and our bed is now in and on a daily watering schedule.

09/12/2019 Update The plants arrived quickly and in good shape. They were planted the next day, and so far they're bright and appear to be healthy.

Don't stint on watering! These little guys have to be kept damp/wet until they get established.

We're planting a large area to replace lawn. No mowing and a green, low-maintenance yard is the goal.
