The plants arrived in a waxy cardboard box surrounded by damp newspaper. About half of the plants had turned black. I planted anyway hoping new growth might emerge. The plants that remained green looked good and healthy. The medium in the pots was very loose with lots of air space. Most root growth appeared to be peripheral. Will see how they do in the ground.
