The spirea arrived with many brown or spotted leaves. I planted all of them, but the next day they were half dried up, and the day after that, they were completely dried up. I can't understand why this happened. The roots were definitely moist when I planted them. I'm hoping that the roots are OK and next year they'll grow.

It is not uncommon for the foliage on bare root plants to die off during transport in the middle of summer they will be fine.
