Mine has done splendidly and keeps increasing/ getting thicker to keep the bank covered and neat looking. The dogs sit on it leaving no harm to the plants. I compost once a year if necessary, esp. in any bare spots, and cut away old growth in the early spring with a push lawnmower; going uphill and against the flow of the old growth. HWE
