Also known as Digital IDs, these digital certificates are similar to your driver's license or membership card in that they prove your identity. Digital IDs are useful in electronic commerce because they verify the identity of the parties involved. We use RSA Laboratories commercial encryption to protect your sensitive communications over the Internet (such as a credit card number) by transforming the data into an unreadable format before transmission.
